Win Rate
Percentage of trades that are profitable. A 50% win rate means half your trades are winners. Higher is generally better, but must be considered alongside average win/loss size.
Profit Factor
Gross profit divided by gross loss. A profit factor above 1.0 means you're profitable overall. Professional traders typically aim for 1.5 or higher.
Average Win vs. Average Loss
Compares the size of your average winning trade to your average losing trade. Ideally, average wins should be larger than average losses (positive expectancy).
Maximum Drawdown
The largest peak-to-trough decline in your account. Important for understanding risk and determining appropriate position sizing.
Sharpe Ratio
Measures risk-adjusted returns. Higher values indicate better risk-adjusted performance. Above 1.0 is good, above 2.0 is excellent.
