Tips for effective bulk operations

Use Filters First

Apply filters before selecting trades to ensure you're working with the right subset of data. This reduces the risk of accidentally modifying unintended trades.

Preview Before Applying

Always use the preview feature before applying bulk changes, especially for edits and deletions.

Start Small

When learning bulk operations, start with a small number of trades to ensure the operation works as expected.

Backup Before Major Changes

Before performing large bulk operations (especially deletions), export your data as a backup.

Troubleshooting
Common issues with bulk operations

Operation Failed

If a bulk operation fails, try reducing the number of selected trades. Very large operations (1000+ trades) may need to be split into smaller batches.

Some Trades Not Updated

Check if any trades are locked or have restricted permissions. Some imported trades may be read-only until manually verified.

Can't Select All Trades

"Select All" only selects visible trades on the current page. Use filters to narrow down your selection, or increase the page size in settings.
